Personal training is more than just a trainer tells you what exercises to do and how many reps to perform, personal training  includes a wide list of elements that must be assessed and implemented  into one’s training regime .

The key elements for a successful personal training program are:

1.      An in depth interview and evaluation including: medical history, fitness level, body composition, fitness tests, fitness goals and availability.

2.      Setting up attainable short, mid and long term goals with periodically testing to reassess progress and make changes if necessary.

3.      An in depth evaluation and reconstruction of a nutrition plan.  It is imperative to establish  a healthy nutrition plan which is easy to follow, easy to maintain and concurrent with your medical history, fitness goals and training regime.

4.      Incorporating different training techniques like: weight lifting, yoga, kick-boxing, plyometrics and stretching.

5.      Incorporating an effective cardiovascular program.

6.      Establishing a multi way communication with clients for an added feedback and support.

Fit1on1 is the only place to really get what you pay for.  There are no shortcuts, false promises or dropouts. I will personally train, motivate and serve you with all the necessary tools to make your fitness  goals a reality.

Training Services Description

  • Weightlifting

Weightlifting is an excellent method to build muscles, tone up, increase metabolism and lose weight. Using free weights and resistance machinery, I apply specific resistance on different muscle groups through specific paths and range of motions..

  • Weight Loss

weight loss is a derivative of exercising and dieting. It is accomplished by reaching a daily calorie deficit balance, which means that the amount of daily calories one consume minus the daily amount of calories that was spent as energy is negative. To simplify the matter if you create a weekly deficit of 3500 calories you would lose approximately one pound

  • Pre / Postnatal

Whether you currently pregnant or planning, working out is very important. Some of the benefits include feeling energized, better balance, strengthening lower back and pelvic to support belly through term and to even help with birthing. It is extremely important to perform all exercises in good form and to keep intensity moderate to low.

  • Balance Training

Whether you currently pregnant or planning, working out is very important. Some of the benefits include feeling energized, better balance, strengthening lower back and pelvic to support belly through term and to even help with birthing. It is extremely important to perform all exercises in good form and to keep intensity moderate to low.

  • Stretching

Stretching promotes flexibility,  prevent injuries, increase mobility and induce the post workout healing. I use three different stretching techniques: passive, active and P.N.F (Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) which is the most advanced method in stretching and the fastest way to promote flexibility. The increase in flexibility will allow broader range of exercises to be performed, greater range of motion, thus making the workout more varied, effective and enjoyable.

  • Kickboxing

Kickboxing is a fun and can be learned by people of all ages young and old. I use basic and effective movements that are easy to learn and implement. Different levels are applied depending on the client’s general health, fitness level and goals.

  • Nutrition Counseling

If the main goal is weight loss then nutrition counseling plays a major role. Exercising promotes weight loss but in many cases it is not enough and there must be a change in your diet. I don’t believe in extreme diets, like all protein, all fat and juice diets because they are short term and do not promote a healthy balanced lifestyle. I work with my client to tailor a nutrition program that gradually introduces small changes making it easier and long lasting. My nutrition counseling promotes muscle growth and fat loss, and this is the secret for a well toned beautiful body

  • Post-Rehab

Getting the right help is vital for your overall health and fitness goals post rehab. Once your rehab period is over your body is still fragile and suspected to injury, I help my client to strengthen the joint, muscles and ligaments in the effected post injured area and to improve his/her flexibility.

  • Aquatic

Aqua exercises are great for post-rehab, pre-natal and the elderly. Exercising in the water is resistance balanced with it its softness. It is fun, refreshing and help to promote balance.

  • Home Gym Consultation

I have many clients that enjoy working out from their home, I consult with them to transform one of their rooms or basement into a home gym. I carefully choose the right equipment to maximize their space and making sure it is hazard free.
